3BILL TO ASSIST ROAD ANGEL MOBILE PROVIDING SAFETY CAMERA AND ACCIDENT BLACKSPOT ALERTS TO NOKIA MOBILE PHONES

3BILL, the newly launched service from Symbios Group allows companies to deliver marketing campaigns to mobile phones in a simple manner. The 3BILL application has been linked with the new ‘Road Angel Mobile’ product to deliver quality driver safety data to Nokia mobile phones.

The Road Angel Mobile driver safety application, provides Accident Blackspot and Safety Camera alerts to customers who own a Nokia mobile phone running S60 2nd Edition and a GPS Bluetooth receiver. To commence the service the customer is required to sign up on-line for registration and to make an initial subscription payment of £5.00 This allows the application to be downloaded to the phone and ongoing updates for a period of 7 days which includes web and email support. Thereafter further subscriptions of £1.50 for a 7 day subscription are taken by mobile phone payment, utilising 3BILL collection services.

The way the service works is that towards the end of the initial subscription period a text is sent to the customer’s mobile phone advising them their subscription is about to expire. If the customer wishes to continue to receive updates they need to send the keyword “Angel” plus a shortcode to buy them another week’s subscription. The subscription will then be automatically deducted from the customer’s mobile phone bill weekly until the keyword “Stop” followed by the shortcode is sent by the customer.

3BILL will be responsible for managing the billing and revenue collection.
