3BILL, the recently launched service from Symbios Group which allows companies to deliver marketing campaigns and digital content to mobile phones in an easy and effective way, is pleased to announce that today it has launched a consumer mobile WAP offer for the award winning musical Hairspray. The ‘mini website’ is run in conjunction with the promoters AKA, a leading live entertainment and marketing agency in London.

Hairspray is a Tony award winning musical based on the 1988 John Waters Movie Hairspray, which is now playing in London and New York. The WAP service is available to London theatre goers allowing them to browse for show performance times, access details of the cast, and download digital content and video clips of the show via their mobile phones.

AKA are at the forefront of using mobile phone marketing for consumer initiatives recently running other mobile offers via the 3BIL platform. This has already included successful competitions, downloads and exclusive offers, to students, and theatreland fans for shows still showing in London such as The Blue Man Group, Billy Elliot, and Dirty Dancing.

This ‘Mobile Mini Site’ offer is part of a contract Symbios Group has with AKA, a leading live entertainment promotions and marketing agency, to run mobile phone initiatives for the promotion of its major stage shows in the UK.
